The Unlikely Path to Consistency

Ever wondered why some days you effortlessly throw on your running shoes and conquer the world, while others, you're lost in a maze of indecision? I've been there! Let me share my journey of trying to recapture the magic of my running days and how I stumbled upon a surprising secret that rekindled my fitness๐Ÿ”ฅflame.

Once upon a time, my running escapades were pure bliss. I'd set out; time stood still, letting my feet take me on a journey of great adventures.. in my head ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ . But then, life happened, and my running days were over. It was clear to me, as an ๐Ÿ† athlete, that I would replace running with "something," but that was not easy. I joined health clubs and specialized centers, hoping to rekindle the magic, but nothing stuck. And nothing was consistent.

After years of struggling, it hit me. My running days were successful because of one thing - a plan! Those meticulously calculated runs, with strategically placed water bottles in neighbor's mailboxes every 3-4 miles (I hated carrying anything when I planned on running more than 7 miles ๐Ÿ˜‚). ๐‘ท๐’๐’‚๐’๐’๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ - ๐’•๐’‰๐’Š๐’” ๐’˜๐’‚๐’” ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’‡๐’๐’–๐’๐’…๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐’๐’‡ ๐’Ž๐’š ๐’„๐’๐’๐’”๐’Š๐’”๐’•๐’†๐’๐’„๐’š. ๐‘ฐ๐’• ๐’˜๐’‚๐’” ๐’๐’Š๐’Œ๐’† ๐’Ž๐’†๐’‚๐’ ๐’‘๐’๐’‚๐’๐’๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’ƒ๐’–๐’• ๐’‡๐’๐’“ ๐’‡๐’Š๐’•๐’๐’†๐’”๐’”!

Armed with this newfound insight, I decided it was time for a fresh start. I sought help from my coach community - a fantastic group of inspiring women. Their support and wisdom propelled me forward, and I began crafting a new fitness routine, armed with a plan ready to rock ๐ŸŽธ.

I crafted a daily 62-minute routine. It's the same time, in the morning, and for now, it's the same routine with some variation of weight training and cardio. Most days, I stick to the plan. If there's a curveball โšพ , my backup plan is a 40-minute power walk.

The idea is to get my body to, once again, begin craving fitness FIRST! And that can only happen by winning the game of consistency. THEN, you can work on maturing the plan by adding yoga or going to a health club one evening as a replacement.

Who would've thought the secret to reclaiming my fitness groove was a well-crafted plan โœ ? My story proves that with a dash of determination and a sprinkle of support, anyone can return to the joy of a consistent fitness routine. You will be amazed that once you crush consistency, it appears happily unannounced in many other areas of your life. ๐Ÿ˜Š
